These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of, access to, and use of Re-Date Your Marriage™, an educational marriage-enrichment program offered by Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC (“Therapize,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using Re-Date Your Marriage™, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
1. About Re-Date Your Marriage™
Re-Date Your Marriage™ is a self-paced educational marriage-enrichment program designed to provide couples with relationship education, reflection exercises, conversation prompts, guided activities, workbooks, planners, and practical tools intended to support intentional investment in their relationship.
The program may include video lessons, written lessons, downloadable workbooks, worksheets, planners, assessments, reflection exercises, couple challenges, discussion prompts, and other educational resources.
Program content may be updated, revised, reorganized, or improved over time.
2. Educational Program — Not Therapy
Re-Date Your Marriage™ is an educational marriage-enrichment program.
Participation in or purchase of the program does not establish a therapist-client, counselor-client, or other professional treatment relationship with Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC or with any individual associated with the program.
Re-Date Your Marriage™ is not:
- Couples therapy or psychotherapy
- Individualized mental health treatment
- Medical or mental health diagnosis
- Crisis intervention
- Individualized professional advice
- A substitute for mental health, medical, legal, financial, or other professional services
Information presented in the program is educational and general in nature and should not be interpreted as individualized treatment recommendations.
3. Relationship Safety
Re-Date Your Marriage™ is not designed to evaluate or address domestic violence, abuse, coercive control, threats, stalking, or other circumstances in which one or both partners may be unsafe.
Some exercises encourage vulnerability, communication, and relationship discussion. Participants are responsible for determining whether a particular activity is appropriate for their circumstances.
If there are concerns about safety, abuse, coercion, or crisis, participants should seek appropriate specialized or emergency support rather than relying on this program.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Every person, couple, marriage, and relationship is different.
Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC does not guarantee that participation in Re-Date Your Marriage™ will improve, repair, preserve, or otherwise produce a particular outcome in a marriage or relationship.
Testimonials, examples, educational scenarios, or descriptions of potential benefits are illustrative and do not guarantee that another participant will experience the same results.
Participants are responsible for how they choose to interpret and apply the educational information provided.
5. Eligibility and Participation
The program is intended for adults.
By purchasing Re-Date Your Marriage™, you represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
Although many exercises are designed to be completed together as a couple, purchase of the program does not guarantee that a spouse or partner will participate.
Each participant remains responsible for their own choices, communication, behavior, and decisions.
6. Purchase and Payment
The price presented at checkout at the time of purchase is the price applicable to that transaction.
From time to time, Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC may offer promotional, introductory, founding-member, coupon, or other discounted pricing.
Promotional pricing does not create an obligation to provide the same price to past or future purchasers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, purchase of Re-Date Your Marriage™ is a one-time payment and not a recurring subscription.
Payments and course access may be processed and delivered through third-party platforms, including Thinkific and its supported payment providers.
7. Founding Couples Pricing
Certain purchasers may receive access to Re-Date Your Marriage™ through a limited introductory Founding Couples offer.
Founding Couples receive access to the program at the promotional price presented at checkout.
Participation in a Founding Couples offer may include an invitation to provide feedback about the program. Providing feedback does not require providing a positive review or testimonial.
Providing a testimonial is voluntary and requires separate permission before the testimonial may be used for marketing purposes.
8. Refund Policy and Final Sale
Re-Date Your Marriage™ is a digital educational product that provides purchasers with immediate access to online course content and downloadable materials.
Because digital content and downloadable resources become available immediately upon purchase, all purchases of Re-Date Your Marriage™ are final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Purchasers are encouraged to review the program description, course contents, pricing, and applicable policies before completing a purchase.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents access to the program, please contact Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same purchase or that another billing error has occurred, please contact us so the transaction can be reviewed and corrected when appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy is intended to waive or restrict consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
9. Course Access
Purchase provides the purchaser with access to Re-Date Your Marriage™ according to the access terms advertised at the time of purchase.
Where the program is advertised as including ongoing access, this means access is intended to remain available for as long as Re-Date Your Marriage™ continues to be offered and supported by Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC through the applicable course platform, subject to these Terms and circumstances reasonably outside our control.
“Ongoing access” or similar language should not be interpreted as guaranteeing that any particular third-party platform, technology, feature, or version of the program will exist indefinitely.
If the program or delivery platform changes substantially, reasonable efforts may be made to provide notice or alternative access where practical.
10. Personal-Use License
Purchase of Re-Date Your Marriage™ provides a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use of the program and its materials.
Your purchase does not transfer ownership of the course content or intellectual property to you.
You may download and print materials made available for download for your own personal use and, where appropriate, for use with your spouse or partner in connection with your participation in the program.
11. Account Sharing
Your course account and login credentials are intended for the purchaser and their participating spouse or partner as reasonably necessary to complete the couple-focused program.
You may not share your account or login credentials with friends, relatives, clients, colleagues, other couples, groups, organizations, or members of the public.
Purchasing one enrollment does not provide permission to distribute course access to multiple couples.
Unauthorized account sharing may result in suspension or termination of access.
12. Workbook and Material Sharing
Re-Date Your Marriage™ materials are provided for the personal use of the purchasing couple.
Unless you receive prior written permission from Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC, you may not:
- Copy or reproduce materials for distribution
- Upload materials to shared drives, websites, social media, course platforms, membership sites, or file-sharing services
- Email or distribute worksheets or workbooks to other couples
- Sell, sublicense, license, or redistribute program materials
- Modify the materials and sell or distribute them as your own
- Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use the materials to create a competing course, workbook, program, or commercial product
You may print reasonable copies for your own personal participation in the program.
13. Professional and Commercial Use
Purchase of Re-Date Your Marriage™ does not include a professional-use, therapist-use, group-use, teaching, training, resale, or commercial license.
Mental health professionals, coaches, educators, clergy, group leaders, or other professionals may not reproduce or distribute Re-Date Your Marriage™ worksheets, workbooks, presentations, videos, or other materials to clients, patients, students, groups, or organizations without prior written permission or an applicable professional license agreement.
14. Intellectual Property
Re-Date Your Marriage™, its course content, videos, written lessons, educational frameworks, graphics, workbooks, worksheets, planners, exercises, prompts, downloads, branding, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Re-Date Your Marriage™ and associated branding may be protected as trademarks or other proprietary identifiers.
No rights are granted except the limited personal-use rights expressly described in these Terms.
15. Recording and Reproduction
You may not record, screen-record, reproduce, download where downloading has not been enabled, transcribe for redistribution, republish, broadcast, or publicly display course videos or other protected program content without written authorization.
Screenshots or brief personal notes may be made for your own private educational use, provided they are not distributed or published.
16. Artificial Intelligence and Content Extraction
Program materials may not be systematically copied, scraped, extracted, uploaded, or used to train, develop, reproduce, or create a competing artificial-intelligence system, database, course, product, workbook, or content library without prior written permission.
This restriction does not prohibit reasonable personal use of technology to assist you in accessing or understanding materials for your own participation in the program, provided the content is not redistributed or used commercially.
17. Community and Communications
If community features, discussion areas, surveys, feedback forms, email communication, or other interactive features are made available, participants agree to communicate respectfully and not use those features to harass, threaten, exploit, or violate the privacy of another person.
Do not submit highly sensitive information about your spouse or partner through feedback forms, testimonials, or public/community areas unless you have appropriate permission and understand how that information will be used.
18. Testimonials and Feedback
You may be invited to provide feedback about Re-Date Your Marriage™.
Providing feedback does not grant Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC permission to publicly identify you or use your comments as a marketing testimonial unless appropriate permission has been obtained.
Where testimonial permission is requested, you may choose whether to grant that permission and, when offered, how you would like the testimonial attributed.
Testimonials may be edited for formatting, spelling, or length provided the meaning of the testimonial is not materially changed.
19. Third-Party Platforms
Re-Date Your Marriage™ may rely on third-party platforms and services for hosting, payment processing, email delivery, video delivery, or other functions.
Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC is not responsible for temporary outages, interruptions, modifications, or failures caused solely by third-party services that are outside its reasonable control, although reasonable efforts may be made to restore or provide access when feasible.
20. Suspension or Termination of Access
We may suspend or terminate access to Re-Date Your Marriage™ when reasonably necessary because of:
- Unauthorized distribution of course materials
- Account sharing outside the permitted purchasing couple
- Copyright or intellectual-property infringement
- Fraudulent activity
- Chargeback abuse
- Material violation of these Terms
- Conduct that threatens the security or operation of the course platform
Termination for a material violation of these Terms does not automatically create a right to a refund.
21. Availability and Modifications
We may periodically update, improve, replace, reorganize, or discontinue individual lessons, downloads, exercises, or technical features.
Reasonable changes intended to maintain or improve the program do not constitute a failure to provide the purchased program.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Therapize Counseling & Wellness, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in or use of Re-Date Your Marriage™.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any aggregate liability arising directly from the purchase or use of the program will not exceed the amount actually paid by the purchaser for Re-Date Your Marriage™.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
I would specifically have an attorney review this section rather than treating liability language as boilerplate, because enforceability can depend on jurisdiction and the particular claim.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your unlawful use or unauthorized distribution of Re-Date Your Marriage™ materials or your material violation of these Terms.
I would also flag this provision for attorney review before publication.
24. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of protections that cannot legally be waived.
25. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes to the program, technology, business practices, or legal requirements.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will identify the most recent version.
Material changes will apply prospectively as required by applicable law and contractual obligations.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, checkout terms, and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing purchase and use of Re-Date Your Marriage™, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
